He served in WW2 in the Army where he died right after the D-Day Invasion. I would like very much to get his military records and all his honors that were instilled upon him and his actions. This man was my Great Uncle. This is important.

How do I research military records to find out more about my namesake, who was my dad’s cousin in the Army and killed at Leyte during WWII.
My grandpa served in WW2 with the Army Air Corps. i had a record of his service, but some how it was lost. any idea where i can get another copy of it? Thanks1
sofgrant, i tried that already. that place had a huge fire and lots of records where lost. thanks though
