Michael asked:
He served in WW2 in the Army where he died right after the D-Day Invasion. I would like very much to get his military records and all his honors that were instilled upon him and his actions. This man was my Great Uncle. This is important.

CARLEN
your best bet would be to contact veterans affairs office. you will have to prove your relationship to the person you are searching for but they have access to every file in his name
FORDON
go to it sould take you to a page that can help.
BEACHER
If he served in the Army, go to the Army historical site (can’t remember the site). They will have as much info as they have. Most of those records burned in a fire in St. Louis, in the 70’s.
